Welcome
The 2007-8 season kicked off to a great start
with a win for the under 12s against their old adversaries at
Moortown (click here for match
report).
The past four weeks have been hard work for the coaches, David
Questa, Adam Bridger and Chris Myers (still one of the best referees
in the league), as they have knuckled down to coaching the under 12s
after a wet and miserable summer.
It was certainly time for a match as the whole
team were ready to go, especially as the evenings are drawing in and
the Wednesday night training sessions are now held under
floodlights.
The confidence gained in the second half
of the last season has seen the team grow in stature, with all of
the players playing well together as a team with greater awareness,
skill, strength and speed. Here's hoping that the hard work of
all of the players and the coaches as well as the dedication of the
hardy parents pays off and that the season goes from strength to
strength for the under 12s
